NPPGov Partners With Montana EMS Association

NPPGov Public Safety GPO is proud to announce a direct partnership with the Montana Emergency Medical Services Association (MEMSA). NPPGov is a leader in Public Safety cooperative purchasing, including emergency medical services.

Montana Emergency Medical Services Association President Clint Loss has been working with Mika Kawakami, Association Manager for Public Safety GPO, to provide competitive cooperative options to MEMSA members.

“The Montana Emergency Medical Services Association is excited to partner directly with NPPGov Public Safety GPO to offer our members departmental and individual discounts which will save them time and money on products they use every day,” said MEMSA President Clint Loss. “We feel a direct relationship with Public Safety GPO is in the best interest of our members and the EMS industry.”

NPPGov currently offers over 100 publicly procured agreements for products and services, along with a discount program for individual members from over 20 vendors, including AT&T FirstNet, Medline, McKesson, Zoll and more. NPPGov owns all their own agreements with most being publicly solicited and awarded by a Lead Public Agency.

“We see a real need to offer organizations, like the Montana EMS Association, the opportunity to secure national contracted pricing based on the buying power of our 45,000 member organizations,” said Bill DeMars, Executive Director of NPPGov.

About Montana EMS Association

MEMSA was formed in 1983 and serves as the Emergency Medical Services Association for the State of Montana. MEMSA membership represents more than 250 EMS organizations. The association consists of 5 executive board members who act as the voice for EMS professionals for both in-state and national issues.

The executive board members are tasked with understanding and managing key issues for emergency medical services throughout the state.

About NPPGov

NPPGov Public Safety GPO is a program of NPPGov, a national cooperative procurement organization offering publicly solicited contracts to public safety departments nationwide. NPPGov contracts are created through a public RFP process by a Lead Public Agency, allowing members to “piggyback” on the contracts thus eliminating the need to complete their own RFP process. NPPGov Public Safety GPO staff and legal counsel facilitate the process, providing necessary documentation and support.

NPPGov membership is free with no obligation to purchase. All members have access to a broad range of publicly solicited contracts with discounted pricing, as well as individual discount programs. NPPGov is owned by non-profit hospitals and a substantial portion of proceeds help support medical research at Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason (BRI) in Seattle, WA.
