NPPGov Partners with the Florida Association of Special Districts
NPPGov is proud to announce a direct partnership with the Florida Association of Special Districts (FASD). NPPGov is a national cooperative procurement organization offering publicly solicited contracts to government entities nationwide.
Florida Association of Special Districts and Office of the Executive Director Rachel Kruse has been working with Mika Kawakami, Association Manager for NPPGov, to provide competitive cooperative options to FASD members.
NPPGov currently offers over 100 publicly procured agreements for products and services, along with a discount program for individual members from over 20 vendors, including AT&T FirstNet, John Deere, Airgas, WESCO, DIRTT, Zoll and more.
“The Florida Association of Special Districts is excited to partner directly with NPPGov to offer our members departmental and individual discounts, which will save them time and money on products they use every day. We feel a direct relationship with NPPGov is in the best interest for the members of the FASD”, said Kruse.
The Florida Association of Special Districts was formed in as a nonpartisan, nonprofit corporation that serves Florida’s 1,800 Independent and Dependent Special Districts in the state of Florida, governed by more than 30 statutes, involving over 500 local governments. FASD advocates on behalf of its member cities, and provides education, training, and assistance to strengthen the ability of city elected officials and staff to serve their communities.
“We see a real need to offer organizations, like the Florida Association of Special Districts, the opportunity to secure national contracted pricing based on the buying power of our 45,000 public entity members,” said Bill DeMars, Executive Director of NPPGov.
NPPGov offers a robust revenue sharing program for qualifying partner organizations. Through the NPPGov share back program, association partners can earn a quarterly revenue share based on membership spend.
NPPGov is a national cooperative procurement organization offering publicly solicited contracts to public safety departments nationwide. NPPGov contracts are created through a public RFP process by a Lead Public Agency, allowing members to “piggyback” on the contracts, thus eliminating the need to complete their own RFP process. NPPGov staff and legal counsel facilitate the process, providing necessary documentation and support.
NPPGov membership is free with no obligation to purchase. All members have access to a broad range of publicly solicited contracts with discounted pricing, as well as individual discount programs. NPPGov is owned by non-profit hospitals and a substantial portion of proceeds help support medical research at Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason (BRI) in Seattle, WA.
